We assess children and adults from 18 months to 17 years of age using comprehensive evaluation measures including the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule- 2nd Edition (ADOS-2), behavioral checklists, structed clinical interviews including the Vineland and clinical observations.

Assessments evaluate:

  • Cognitive abilities
  • Social skills and development
  • Emotional and behavioral functioning and regulation
  • Communication and language abilities
  • Adaptive behaviors

After your insurance is verified and benefits are discussed, you will meet with our Clinical Director to discuss your child’s health and developmental history as well as therapy expectations. This initial meeting is followed by an Assessment which is scheduled and conducted by one of our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). The Assessment is approximately 2 hours and includes the use of the Verbal Behavior Milestone Assessment & Placement Program (VB-MAPP) to assess and select developmental appropriate goals in the communication, adaptive, social and behavior domains. A comprehensive report is written along with an individualized treatment plan and program for your child. After discussing with you, treatment can begin.
